With Disney Infinity, the house mouse wants to prove once and for all that it can dominate any form of entertainment including video games.
Let’s get one thing outa the way, Disney Infinity has a spectacular presentation really knows how to start a show. The lengthy magical intro practically lets you play Disney’s legacy. Doing so it manages to teach the player about the journey ahead and the fun that it’s store. It sure as hell brought back a lot of memories too. Bravo! The game then starts opening up for you. You’ll slowly begin learning the core mechanics such as building worlds, levels, and creating fun. At the heart of Disney Infinity is the hub that lets you bring iconic Disney figures to into the game world. Each figure brings in a new experience, world, mission, and much more. Think of it like DLC only with toys.
If you’re thinking of investing into Disney Infinity then you better make sure you got a lot of cash. The starter pack includes the game and three character (sully, jack, and Mr. Incredible) which will run you back around $75. Characters and separate play sets that range from 12-40 dollars. Unfortunately these toys are necessary to get the full Disney Infinity experience. If you want to play with certain character and worlds you will need to buy their specific play set. It’s Disney but not really Infinity unless you got a pocket full of cash. Parents, you have been warned.
