Now that FIFA 14
is out and has already sold a bunch of copies, EA is free to talk about how much better the next gen editions will be. FIFA 14
came out in September for the Xbox
360 and Playstation 3. In a few weeks, the Xbox One
and Playstation 4
edition of FIFA 14
will be out and you can guarantee it will be a different game. With all that extra processing power and RAM, EA is able to churn out a lot more than what they did on the current gen consoles.
The next gen doesn't only bring in more raw power, it provides developers with the ability to add more intricate and interactive features. The raw power and greater RAM will bring in better visuals, one thousand more animations, more precise movements and shots and the loud and encouraging bang from the fans on the sidelines. EA's new Ignite engine introduces something called Elite Technique. Which does what you imagined it would do, more precise and more realistic gameplay. It adds new touch passes, sliced lobs, curved shots, tighter dribbling, intricate dribbles and you'll be able to have a more precise header by controlling the angle, power and direction of the ball. If you're a FIFA fan, I suggest you save some cash for the next gen edition because it's a whole different game.
