Watch this Pokemon Battle in First Person
one year ago
Regardless of your age or gender, whether you're a millennial or apart of the old school, you either all-in or are acutely aware of something called Pokemon. Whether it's the video game, the show, the cards or just the cultural craze it started, the face above belongs to no stranger.
As gamers, we've witnessed Pokemon battles go down in two dimensions and three dimensions, we've seen their animations get smoother and their graphics get crispier but one thing has always been a constant, the camera angle. Granted, throughout most of the Pokemon games, we assume the role of the trainer, whose job it is to stand behind the battlefield and yell out commands but as far as the changes made throughout the years? This has been stagnant.
Deep down, we all want a Skyrim-like experience set in an open Pokemon world. Engaging in battles through the eyes of our Pokemon and not the trainer in the background. Well, that game does not exist – yet but we do have the video below to give us a little perspective on what it would possibly look like – during battles, at least.
