Following Commander Shepard’s mission to save the galaxy, Mass Effect 3 will bring the final chapter of the trilogy, hopefully ending the war against the ruthless Reapers’ threat.

If you readers played the previous titles, we hope you kept your game saves, as it will influence the course of the story, and carry over (reportedly) over a thousand variables, including your hard work on your character’s appearance, classes and abilities. Gameplay wise, Mass Effect 3 has more of a Gears of War feeling to it, with a redefined cover system, gory melee attacks with omniblade enhancements, and of course co-op gameplay.
What! Co-Op! you mean you didn’t know there’s multiplayer? Since the leaked version of the Beta was found between the hands of casual gamers, Bioware gave us more information about the multiplayer elements. Teams of four will play together to fend off the enemy waves, while doing side tasks such as hacking consoles, in different areas of the Citadel’s space. A daring move from Bioware, but hopefully they learned a lot from their previously released Star Wars: The Old Republic.

With two month away from the launch date, and a recently released roster of masterminds behind its soundtrack (Global Globe nominated Clint Mansell), Mass Effect 3 is set to close its trilogy in the most epic way they could.
