It feels like it was only yesterday when we waited with
baited breath for a trailer for the newest installment of Rockstar Games’
classic Grand Theft Auto series – Grand Theft Auto V. The trailer emerged and much
speculation followed concerning the video, with theories about a
three-character storyline, flyable planes in the game and various other
details. Well, we have some possible answers for those questions.

A user on
Gamespot’s forums by the name of Gloggle claimed to be the friend of an
ex-Rockstar employee, and provided a massive information leak concerning the
new title.
This information is very comprehensive, and while it
strictly consists of rumors at this stage it’s pretty interesting.
Apparently, there will only be one protagonist, a
half-Hispanic former gangster by the name of Albert Silva. He is the ‘rich guy’
from the trailer.
This new title will supposedly feature a map about five
times as large as the GTA IV map, and it will be navigable using a range of
different planes. It will be more dangerous than that of previous games for all
you wannabe felons, as the police will take extensive measures to end your life
of crime using riot shields and flashbangs, and your wanted level will persist
for much longer.
Finally, the leak states that the new game will include a
large new multiplayer section which can support up to 32 players. Multiplayer
gameplay will revolve around forming gangs and carrying out various missions.
The leak states that the game will be out in May 2013, with
a playable demo available at E3.
We’ve emailed Rockstar Games and we’re currently awaiting a statement, we’ll
let you know what they tell us right here on At7addak.
