Shootmania Storm: Beta Invitation

A new trailer for this competitive shooter and a chance to try the game.

Back at the E3 Expo 2012, Ubisoft showed off a new future direction for their games: e-Sports. With the help of their recently bought subsidiary – Nadeo – Ubisoft are launching a competitive first-person shooter called Shootmania.

Captured during the Cyberathlete Summit in Paris, the trailer should remind you of the good ol’ days of competitive gaming such as Unreal Tournament. French Team COLWN – in action in the video – consisted of Pierre-Emeric "l1nkin" Portier, Michael "winz" Bignet and Alessandro "Stermy" Avallone grabbed the grand prize of the first ever Cybsum Storm competition last week.

So if you’re willing to try out the game, you can easily do that for free as Shootmania Storm Closed Beta will start early July 2012 - adding the new competitive mode “Siege”, for 5 vs 5 players battles – and registration is open as we speak.

Now hurry up, as you have until next week, July 2nd to enter and have a chance at winning a Beta Key. Go to Shootmania Storm’s website, and we’ll see you in the arena.
