Battlefield 3 Premium is now becoming a huge success. Why you ask? Well, if you
didn’t read our piece, here’s a simple way to put it: Double XP events, early
access to new map packs and exclusive perks.
This week, in honor of the American Independence Day,
Battlefield 3 Premium players will have the chance to boost their level easily
thanks to a generous Double XP week starting today. The Double XP will last
until July 8th for Battlefield 3 Premium players, and until July 4th for
regular Battlefield 3 players.
On another note, Electronic Arts’ Senior Vice President Patrick
Soderlund, stated that there are more than 800,000 players who have joined
Battlefield 3 Premium, which is very close to what Call of Duty Elite’s numbers
were in their first month. So is it a success? Well, money wise, that’s over 4
Million dollars for EA’s pocket, already thinking of implementing the same
formula for other games such as FIFA or Medal of Honor. For us? That means more
maps, more content and more fun!
