As Summer is almost about to end, the craziest gaming season of the year is also starting. Fall season is known to launch some of the biggest blockbuster games every time, and this year is no different, as it will be very heavy on the pocket.

Starting with August, Darksiders II and Sleeping Dogs will open up the season on August 14th. Later on, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive will bring back the memorable first person shooter to consoles and Xbox 360 with Transformers: Fall of Cybertron on August 21st. The last month of summer will end in a blast by the long awaited PC port of Dark Souls on August 24th and sequel to ArenaNet’s monster MMO, Guild Wars 2 on August 28th.

September on the other hand is a rather clam month. Well, not really, as Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is unleashed on September 11th and Gearbox Software brings even more badass into Borderlands 2 on September 18th.

October is going to be the heaviest month of the Fall season. Starting off with Capcom’s Resident Evil 6, 2K Sports’ NBA 2K12 on October 2nd, Dishonored will bring the stealthy action RPG to all platforms, tagged with the reboot of an old PC franchise, XCOM: Enemy Unknown on October 9th.

The third week of October will be favored for fighters with Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale and Street Fighter X Tekken Vita version on October 23rd. This also marks the same day that EA’s new shooter comes out, Medal of Honor: Warfighter and Turn 10’s racing game Forza Horizon.

The month of haunts will end in the most fashionable ways, with award-winning Assassin’s Creed III and Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation, and EA’s racer, Need for Speed: Most Wanted coming on October 31st.

November will also see big title launches, with the iconic return of Master Chief in Halo 4 starting off the month on November 6th. It will be later followed by Activision’s futuristic Call of Duty: Black Ops II on November 13th and the comeback of Agent 47 in Hitman: Absolution on November 20th.

Finally Christmas time will be rather quiet with only Ubisoft’s Far Cry 3 on December 4th, bringing a new meaning to insanity. So now that you have a rather clear list, what’s going to be your poison for the season? I hear wallets crying already!
