Rumors about a new version of the Playstation 3 has been going
on for some days now, and we just found some new images of what could be Sony’s
big announcement at the Gamescom 2012 conference.
This time, it is a visual showing a comparison of the different
versions. The upcoming CEH-4000 model, which should be an even slimmer version
of the Playstation 3 is much smaller than expected.
Finally, some important information were given out about the
new drive of the console. Say goodbye to slot-loading drives, as Sony are going
back old-school, bringing the formula once found in the Playstation 2 Slim,
with an opened façade to insert the disc.
Anyway, if an announcement would be made regarding the new Playstation
3, it is very likely that it will take place during Gamescom, starting on August
15th. But with the arrival of the new generation, is it worth it?
