After the Starcraft II event, live from New York’s MLG Summer, on
August 3-5, four teams from around the world will compete head to head for the League of Legends Arena Finals with a grand prize of $10’000. After numerous series of European and American
qualification, the teams are set, and here are your future champions.
All the way from Europe, Team BLACK was the surprise of the
European bracket qualification. Consisted of Julien 'Alvik' Adler, Dejan
'diqozoY' Komocar, Hans 'FatMamma' Bjerhem, Plamen 'napraen' Stoyanov and
Team-Captain & Manager Oskar 'Facerollerx' Skanning, the Nordic team blew
all expectations last month, and will hopefully show us some intense games in
August.
Second team is the North American qualification winner, Team
Curse. They have struggled to win the American bracket, but the team consisted
of Jacky "Nyjacky" Wang, Jonathan "Westrice" Nguyen, Cody
"Elementz" Siggy, Brandon "Saintvicious" DiMarco, David
"Cop" Roberson and Team Captain Steve "LiQuiD112", is one
of the top three best team in League of Legends.
On the other hand, Team Azubu Blaze will be the first of the
invited teams at the MLG Summer Arena. One of Korea’s best teams and winner of
the OnGameNet The Champions Spring 2012, they are a force to be reckoned with.
The team is consisted of Bok “Reapered“ Han-gyu,
Kang “Ambition” Chan-yong, Shin “Helios“ Dong-jin, Ham
“Lustboy” Jang-sik and Kang “Cpt Jack” Hyung-woo.
Finally your finally team is none other than MLG Spring 2012
League of Legends Arena winner, Team SoloMid, consisted of the American Andy
“Reginald” Dinh, Alex “Xpecial” Chu, Marcus “Dyrus” Hill and Canadian Brian
“TheOddOne” Wyllie and Shan “Chaox” Huang. Inviting them to the MLG Summer
Arena was logical, as Team SoloMid is considered as the best American team
right now.
Now since flying to New York is not really that easy, you
should know that the matches will be broadcasted live in 480p on MLG’s site, or
you can opt for the HD 1080p, advertising-free stream with an HD pass upgrade.
Tune in next month, everyday on August 3-4, with casters Leigh “Deman” Smith,
Dan Dinh, and Trevor “Quickshot” Henry.
