Activision has recently unveiled the PC versions’ minimum
and recommended specifications for Call of Duty: Black Ops II on their official
website. In a FAQ posted in the weekend, Treyarch also states that Call of
Duty: Black Ops II uses an enhanced version of the engine used in the original
title.

So, PC gamers can enjoy the power of DirectX 11, better
lighting, shadows, antialiasing, bloom effect, depth of field, ambient
occlusion and many other small details that will delight mouse and keyboard
players. Unfortunately, because of the use of DirectX 11, the developers had to
abandon support for the old Windows XP.

The minimum specification for Call of Duty: Black Ops II on
PC is a Windows Vista SP2 or Windows 7 Operating System, an Intel Core2 Duo
E8200 2.66 GHz or AMD Phenom X3 8750 2.4 GHz Processor, 2 GB for 32-bit OS and
4 GB for 64-bit OS and a choice between the Nvidia GeForce 8800GT 512MB or ATI
Radeon HD 3870 512MB Graphics Card.
