The Halo universe is made up of multiple races. In Halo 4, we have 3 particular races with a vast array of weapons. The UNSC, The Covenant and the brand new race, the Prometheans. Each with their own style of weapons and vehicles. 343 studios put a lot of work into balancing the game, so for every class of weapons, each race has its own variation.

For example, the standard Sniper rifle. For the UNSC, it's a 50 caliber Sniper Rifle, for the Covenant it's the Beam Rifle and for the Prometheans, it's the Binary Rifle. Each varying with its own feel and play style. Each weapon has a different stats, like fire rate, damage, range, ease of use and flexibility.
This applies for every type of weapon. Pistols, rifles, rocket launchers, grenades, melee weapons, vehicles and more. Watch the videos below for a better idea on what to expect when heading on board the UNSC Infinity.

We should expect to see a lot of new combos, maybe the Promethean Boltshot pistol along with UNSC's Battle Rifle? Seems like a deadly combo to me. The Promethean Pulse Grenade seems like an obvious choice for me, its creates like an area of effect that drops the shields of any spartan who walks through it, leaving him with absolutely no health, a quick shot to the head will clear him out. The Pulse Grenade also works the same way with vehicles, slowing them in their tracks and dropping their shields.

This grenade can be useful in almost every scenario. If your being chased down by an opponent, you can easily turn around and throw the grenade is his path rendering him shield-less or create an obstacle which can prevent him from getting closer to you. Also if your approaching a large number of enemies, just throw this grenade in between them and finish them all off in just one clip.
