Assassins Creed 3: The Tyranny of King George

Details about the first DLC and Season Pass.

by Shanklish on Oct 04, 2012
Ubisoft made a few announcements last night regarding their first DLC for Assassins Creed 3, The Tyranny of King George.

It's a single player add-on where the story takes a different direction towards the end. After the events of the American Revolution, George Washington "succumbs to the temptation of infinite power" and takes the throne for himself. The new King is born and his reign leaves no one untouched. To return freedom to the land, our new hero Connor must dethrone a tyrant he once called friend. Sounds like a definite must-buy for me.

The Season Pass for Assassins Creed 3 will grant you access to five downloadable content packs for 25% less then each one individually. It will include the five content packs, three of which are a part of "The Tyranny of King George" but it's said to also include multiplayer maps and characters. The Season pass will cost 2400 Microsoft Points or $30. When the Season Pass is purchased, you will given access to the downloadable content one week earlier than the individual pack purchasers.
