I've taken a long break from Halo 4, the game that I used to play daily. I played it non-stop when it came out, but after exhausting all the maps I took a break. With next week's update, I'll be back in full throttle.

The Community Forge playlist was a great addition, but constant FPS drop made it unplayable. Thankfully, Team Doubles is making its debut along with the competitive playlist we discussed last week which has now been named "Team Throwdown".

There are three different variations of the 2 v 2 playlist
Infinity Doubles
This gamemode features the standard slayer variant. Custom loadouts, instant respawn, radar and personal ordinance.
Doubles Pro
In Doubles Pro, loadouts are preset for you with no radar, no instant respawn and no personal ordinance. There will be four loadouts with each of them featuring Dexterity and Resupply. The four primary weapons are the BR, DMR, LightRifle and Carbine.
CTF Doubles
The popular Capture the Flag gametype specially catered for 2 v 2 play. Featuring custom loadouts, radar and a respawn timer of 10 seconds. 5 captures to win with a three second return time on the flag. Also, your team's flag doesn't need to be home in order to capture the opponent's flag.

Next week's update also bring in two more specializations for you. Rogue and Tracker will be making their way to your spartans this Monday, February 4th.
