There are a ton of rumors floating around about the next-generation consoles. One of which, is that the next generation Playstation Eye will be shipping alongside the Playstation 4.
The Playstation Eye is said to have a pair of wide angle cameras, each offering a 1280x720 resolution. The sound will be processed by four microphone arrays at 48 Khz. The Playstation Eye will be combatible with the Playstation Move and can track head and hand movement. The Playstation Eye will also support video chat and can recognize users automatically and sign them into their accounts.
