Australian Teams Qualify For Call of Duty World Championship

The world's best compete for $1 Million.

Last week, 8 teams from North America qualified for their shot at the $1,000,000 championship. Now, two more teams from Australia and New Zealand are in. Team Immunity and Mindfreak eSports have battled their way to the top of their respected leagues and will now be joining the other 8 teams in Hollywood including Curse, TVA, RAGE, Awe Sports, Phoenix, compLexity, Quantic and Vintage.

So far these qualified teams will be joining in with a total of 22 teams who will qualify by playing Black Ops 2 multiplayer games on their Xbox 360.  These will be the amateur teams. From the professional teams, the finalist from the MLG Winter Championship will also be joining in and the finalists from the ESL's European Finals in Cologne, Germany. Other teams from Asia and Brazil will also have their shot at the $1 million prize.

The grand finals will take place on April 5th in Hollywood, California.
