When Bungie was done with Halo, it was a worldwide phenomenon. As one of the biggest franchise in the world, Bungie said goodbye to Halo and moved on. Activision and Bungie paired up to create a universe as deep and diverse as Star Wars.

Bungie-Destiny-3

This is one of the first signs of life we see from Destiny. Destiny is centered around adventure, exploration and designed to be highly social. The story begins when a massive and mysterious alien ship hangs overhead like a second moon. Aliens begin to creep up and their determined to take Earth, including its last city. The "Knights" are tasked with defending the last remaining life on Earth.

The game is social at its core and is aimed to unite players from all around the world and accessible to all. Before you get thinking, Destiny will not be an MMO.  A rumor was circling the industry but was then later debunked when Bungie referred to it as a joke. Destiny offers a new world to explore with friends both old and new.

Bungie-Destiny-1

Bungie let go of Halo to create a new title that will ultimately take on Halo. A game so deep and tangible that it will immerse you in its world and "designed for your inner seven year old"
